A first-time visit to Chive. I will definitely return. Owner Lou and his staff were very kind and patient in explaining the dining concept and answering any questions. The swordfish was tender and flavorful and the Korean beef tacos were a good size portion with fresh ingredients.
I just keep coming back because the atmosphere is so relaxed, the service is great and the food is fresh. When you walk in, you can choose to have full service at the bar or counter service to order to go or sit at one of their tables/booths inside or outside. In general, the food reminded me similar to what you would get at the whole foods salad bar section. The meat is overcooked in general and a bit chewy. I will not coming back again. The following is what I ordered. -Curry chicken dish (Chicken was rubbery) -Wings (Chewy) -Chili and Potato salad -Smash Burger (Best thing we had)
Enjoyed our lunch. Sat outside on patio with our pup. Great food & cocktails. Second visit and we will be back!
