The receptionist is impatient and rude. The MD does not care for patients' wellbeing. I have been looking for a new family doc for a long time and am glad to be seeing someone else finally.

My son was tested that he had hearing loss, the lady who gave him the test was very serious since it should not happen at his age, she let me take a photo of the hearing test report to get him to be checked ASAP. Then my son left Calgary to go to university. When I saw Doctor Chiu, he did not even want to see the hearing test report, he told me my son should come, or let my son call him if he was not in Calgary, and he could receive the report later. My recent experience with Dr. Chiu’s office was very poor. I was given a requisition by Dr Chiu for lab work and made an appointment with the lab. Unfortunately Dr. Chiu did not have his name or address on the requisition and when I arrived at the lab they were unable to process my tests. As I had already waited over a month for this appointment I did not want to miss completing the test.
