It has a nice beach and playgrounds. You are surrounded by trees and a few sites are next to the lake.
Beautiful place to camp and all amenities available. Pelican beach is a treasure and not a long walk from the main campground. Beware that if you want firewood you need to be at the campsite before 3:30 or you will be out of luck until the next day at that time. There is no personal to talk to if you arrive later in the day…everything is online and the phone number available is not answered after about 5:00 pm.
