I'm refuse to rate.....I've been going to Dominicans to get my hair done over 16 years. My stylist in Atlanta I went to her 10 of the years. When I movedo in the area I started going to this salon about 6 plus years ago. Let's just say, I've been lied to about this special "organic perm" that eventually damaged my hair! My beautiful hair that was in the mid part of my back has now fallen out to the new growth.....The only option is had was to get a sew in, that she charged me almost $300 for. This is the best salon I have ever been to. My hair turned out beautiful. The owner Is so amazing, she is one of the best Hairstlyist I've ever met. In the beginning I was a bit spectacle about going to this salon because of all the reviews that I saw but, I took a chance and tried it out and believe me it was worth it. This is one of the best experiences I've had in a Jacksonville Salon since I moved from New York. Don't listen to those reviews try it out for yourself!

I have been a customer of Chisam hair salon for years. My hair was destroyed before she started to take care of it. I am so happy with the growth and the way my hair looks that every where I go I am always asked who does my hair. My daughter, grand-daughter, mom and many of my girl friends go to her her salon and they are all happy with the service they receive. If you go to a doctors office even with an appointment you still have to wait. So it is with going to the hair salon, if she wasn't any good her shop would not be... read more

The owner at this salon is simply ridiculous. I've come here consistently for years and she still is as rude as ever. She changes the price for a simple wash and set at every visit. I can't understand it. I sent my mom there today to get a wash and set and I drove up there to bring her cash for the tip. I sat down for one minute in the chair beside her to talk to her about her hair...it's the first time she'd been to a Dominican salon...and the owner started yelling at me across the salon because she didn't want me to bre... read more

Avoid this place at all cost. Even with an appointment you will spend 3- 4 hours. The owner is rude and very unprofessional. Don't even deserve 1 star. Aweful and overpriced

This place is the pits the owner is rude, unprofessional and has no sense of business. She don't respect the customers let alone herself and they do hair that well at all and quick to overprice you. She curses in front of children when they are getting service. For some reason they lock you into the shop which I'm sure violates some fire code, if she did better business she wouldn't be scared and locking the door after each customer. She is HORRIBLE as heck!

I bet those who said this is a great place to get your hair done and the owner offers the best customer services must write positive reviews must really be employees posting for a bonus. Last time I went for a blow dry they told they must wash my hair one time. I found it totally insane because I have gone to so many hair salon where you ask for the services without any requeriments.
