Honest mechanic Best in town !
Sometimes you are having one of those days where everything is going wrong and then in the midst of all the craziness you come across a business that just does things the right way. Let me recount my encounter with Chip's Auto in Ruskin. On a day I woke up with a dead battery, I was bounced from AAA telling me it was BOTH batteries to the the first person at AutoZone (who was a tool) telling me he wouldn't even test my car and then the tide turned when a different AutoZone person (lovely lady named Jersey of all things) step... read more
Chip is a godsend! He showed me there are still good people in the world! He helped me out with everything I need without hesitation and got me back on the road so quickly! I feel like my car is now safer bc of this shop! The customer service is top notch and the price was super affordable! Couldn’t recommend him more! I would give 20 stars if google would let me!
My clutch went out and they fixed it within 3 hours, my car drives like new and my clutch is clutching very smoothly!! They also have excellent customer service and are very nice people, overall experience is 10 out of 10 definitely recommend!!!
We had our 2007 VW Rabbit Turbo go down with apparent clutch issues on Saturday. I called Chip that afternoon and he said to bring it in Monday morning. We got the car there 8 am Monday and by 10am Chip's Auto called us with the exact issue(s) and the estimate to repair. They had the car fixed and ready for pick up by lunch time on Tuesday. Chip personally showed us the old parts. Highly highly highly recommend Chip's Auto in Ruskin for anyone who needs good work done quickly! Thanks Chip......we will definitely be back.
