We had the best room ever! Our balcony overlooked the water and we could watch the ferries come and go. We could watch the sunrise and the sunset. They came around with cookies and milk every evening. It was a very nice place to spend our nights while we were on this great island!
Stopped serving breakfast in a Saturday at 10:30am. Rude hostess.
We had a lake view room from 9-13-2025 through 9-16-2025. Great view from the 4th floor. Room was nice and large and even though this is an old hotel it did have an elevator. It is right in the middle of all the happenings on the island. Also easy walking distance to the arch, Ft. Mackinaw and other attractions. Staff was great, Pink Pony was a party and the crowd for the Lion's game on the big bar screen was roaring the team on to victory. We really enjoyed our stay at the Chippewa.
We always love staying here. Great location, the pink pony is a blast at night and the breakfast is always amazing. Highly recommend
Very beautiful place. I loved this hotel and the pink pony bar and crew. Everyone was pleasant and helpful.
