Very disappointing! After being a patient of Dr. Amin's for 12+ years I was blindsided when my annual appointment was cancelled. I rarely get sick however the last 2 times...I was unable to secure an appointment with him and was referred to a nurse practitioner in his office. No big deal, same practice etc. The entire 2025 year Dr Amin has been receiving medical updates from my neurologist. Not responsive or helpful in a timely manner. Missed a significant bacterial infection. PCPs in the IU system leave a lot to be desired based on my experience.
Although my elderly parents didn't see Dr. Amin for long due to a move into LTC, Dr. Amin and the nursing staff were incredibly attentive. One nurse in particular helped me though a rough patch with my mother and was knowledgeable and so very caring!
