We just had the best week at Chinquapin. We stayed in a beautiful lake front unit and enjoyed everything Chinquapin has to offer (pool, playground, bocce, pickleball, the pier, both beaches...). We can't wait to return.
Such a lovely setting. Very comfortable and clean. The area has a relaxed feel. The furniture is comfortable and so are the beds. Kitchen, dining room and living room is a great room with the patiio. We were a total of 4 adults and loved that it didn't feel crowded at all.
We had a wonderful stay at Chinquapin! The condo was 5b/4ba, and well appointed with everything we needed for 8 adults and 3 kids under 5. The pool, pier, and sandy beach were all well-maintained, and we've made wonderful family memories. It was a hot week when we visited, there were more than enough fans for every room, and the condo stayed relatively cool. The rental office staff were helpful and cheery - overall can't wait to go back!
Another great summer stay at Chinquapin! My family has been coming here for over 45 years. The lakefront units’ scenery never disappoints. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. Karma and Talia at the office are so helpful and always there for you if you need them. Highly recommend as one of the best places to stay on North Shore.
We have been Chinquapin renters since 1990, and it NEVER disappoints! It's the perfect lakefront spot on the north shore, great amenities, super helpful and friendly staff, great access to Tahoe City and Carnelian Bay, gorgeous and spacious mountain accommodations and unrivaled privacy and beauty. Exceptional in every way!
