The place is in a wonderful location. The bed was really uncomfortable due to this weird pad thing placed on the mattress and the hot tun was like warm. The worst part was I had reserved three nights and something came up so I had to leave early in the morning on the 3rd day and there was no refund for the 3rd night though it says in the fine print there are no fees for modification of reservation only if you cancel. Pros: Very cozy and clean room. I liked that they provided a coffee maker and coffee pods with creamer. Very responsive with requests. Bonus points for having a mini fridge and microwave. Cons: shower stall is tiny and water was difficult to adjust. The only convenient place to plug in a charger was far from the bed. Would have liked to see disposable silverware and a box of tissues in the room.
Amazing view awesome atmosphere
I was given the entry code with my confirmation email and tried it about 7 times. Called the after hours phone and wasn't able to get help since they are off site and was told to find the front desk people. Front desk was open, after hours phone rep said til 10 but a note on the door says 8 (it was 720). Waited and called the after hours after 25 mins or so and no one at the front desk, thinking they were helping someone on the property. Our stay at Chinook Winds was very satisfying. The location was beautiful and close to town, the quaint cabin had all the basic amenities need to be very comfortable. And the bed was extremely comfortable. We throughly enjoyed our stay and Carla is very personable and easy to work with. We will deffinatly be staying here again!
