We live in Cle elum and always find the best prices at Chinook in North Bend. We built our back deck 3 years ago using materials from them and now we’re reenforcing it for a hot tub. The guys there are super helpful and the loaders are always quick and funny while they work. High quality lumber - if you’re not happy with any of it, they’ll exchange it for a better piece. Highly recommended!
The Sales Rep placed our custom order incorrectly (things happen, I get it!) It’s how you handle those mishaps, and Chinook failed big time, at least their “Manager” did. Advice, listen to your customers, and put yourself in their shoes. Listening goes a long way, especially if the company made the error.I”ll be driving to Issaquah from now on and dealing with those big box stores. At least I’m treated with respect.
I am 5x more likely to call in a complement when I experience good service than I am to bother complaining about bad service. In the past I called to complain and then noticed service had improved, only to have it all go back downhill within 6 months. Grumpy old men behind the counters. Grumpy old men answering the phones. The people that work at the Snohomish location are rude have poor customer service skills and really don't care if they damage your property. On several occasions they have damaged people's vehicles because they are not paying attention to what they're doing. They need to learn to hire people that know how to load vehicles and not have customer service skills. I will never ever recommend this company to anyone and will never go back there again.
