We moved to Chino Hills in 2016 and love that the recreation center offers so many activities for the community. The rec department is always so helpful as is the gals who issue years sale permits. In regards to the 1 star park review- we don’t have parks like that under city jurisdiction, pretty sure “Karen” is talking about Chino Hills state park which I also love, park in the neighborhoods and walk up if you want free parking but the state parks workers are all easy going in my experience.
I went ty o Chino Hills Park last weekend to see flowers blooming, had to pay for admission to get in. Nothing much to see but the worst part is that we got a ticket from rancher. I saw many people who came in to take pictures like me also parked at the overnight camp ground but didn't get ticket but us and one more car??? Why? My first thought was that my parking admission ticket was blown by the wind to the corner of the car, so the rancher did not see but still they charge us for $71 fine after we sent the admission info ... read more
