I cannot stress enough how much I love Dr. Vyas and his team. He’s always friendly and maintains a professional stance. He’s extremely knowledgeable and addresses all my concerns— no matter how great or small. Whenever I call the office, the staff are polite and get back to me ASAP. Let’s face it— no one enjoys doctor visits but Dr. Vyas genuinely cares about his patients so it doesn’t feel like you’re just a chart number.
I can almost never get an appointment at Dr. Vyas' office. They are also very reluctant to do telehealth, even when I tested positive for Covid. I had to go to the emergency room at Metro Health just to be treated with Paxlovid after calling his office inquiring about it. His staff on the phone was rude (not the first time) and told me I wouldn't get a call back on it for a week. Well, it's been more than a week and I never heard back. Very unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend this doctor or his office at UH Southwest.
