Thank Goodness for Dr Karen! This wonderful human solved a problem the others could not. My Toy poodle was regularly having problems with his back legs. I took him to the emergency vet and the regular vet and all they could do is give him pain relief and terrify me with talk of a possible spinal injury. They did an X-ray and a CT scan, and found nothing. This all took over a month, they had him on pain meds the whole time. Eventually I decided the drugs had to stop and he started getting better, but within 10 weeks it was lo... read more

My senior dog was experiencing severe bowel issues with constant vomiting and bowel movement. We took her to several vets who were never able to identify what was wrong and suggested it was from old age, hence offered minimal interventions. I took her to Chinese Vet and from the initial consultation was treated with herbs, accupuncture and holistic lifestyle changes. By removing vegetables from her diet as suggested by the doctor, this dramatically improved her condition. I highly recommend this Vet and am very greatful for ... read more

I just wanted to take a moment to share how incredibly grateful we are for Dr. Karen and the care she has given Sailor over the past few weeks. Three weeks ago, we were in a really uncertain place. Sailor had been experiencing repeated episodes, and we had no clear idea what was going on or what the next step should be. It was stressful, worrying, and honestly quite overwhelming. From the moment we saw Dr. Karen, things started to change. Instead of just treating symptoms, she took the time to really dig deeper and understan... read more

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Karen Tan and her work in Chinese veterinary and holistic healing. Her approach is deeply thoughtful, grounded in expertise and delivered with genuine care and integrity. I came to Dr Karen at a critical point in my dog Molly’s cancer treatment. Molly’s gastrointestinal side effects from chemotherapy had become so acute that we were forced to pause her treatment altogether. At that point, continuing chemo did not feel possible, and the risk of relapse was very real. With Dr Karen’s Chinese ... read more

5 stars just isnt enough! Dr Karen is worth her weight in gold. We were away and received a call our boy Chino had a spinal injury. His back legs were not working, he had lost all feeling and control. Over a series of days and calls we were told some very scary things about his condition. We were advised he needed spinal surgery but probably wouldnt survive it. We refused the surgery because of this, only to be told he would need to be put to sleep. This we also refused. We were not giving up on our boy. We took him to see h... read more
