I'm never going to order from this place again. I ordered good in person around noon yesterday (02/19/2026). The fried rice was ok the chicken was super dry and felt like it was over cooked. That's how chewy it was. I couldn't eat it and had to throw it in the trash. The egg roll was soggy and lacking in flavor. This was the only thing I eat that was not part of my normal diet. I have no issues eating at new places but to this restaurants food gave me diarrhea today. I should have looked at the reviews before eating here.

I started going in ORIENTAL CAFE on w.s young and It's worth going since they give/put good portions unlike chinese gourmet

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE! I got my same meal as always for my family and I and on DoorDash after I placed everything in my cart it was $30 more expensive than when I go to the actual establishment. And I also noticed when I go directly to this place the broccoli beef is apart of the combo items and isn’t an extra or separate charge. On DoorDash it’s charging extra or as an separate item for 10.99 and don’t have it as an item to pick from in the combo choices.

I visited this restaurant today at 5:30pm. I was standing at the counter waiting for the guy to take my order but he was talking to the guy standing on the San Sei side. They were just gossiping about people in the mall so I politely asked them if someone was working on the gourmet express side when one of the guys answered all rude “yeah give me a minute” as if I was bothering him to do his job. I politely said never mind and left.
