Explained that my coworker was very sick and on steroids and antibiotics and I cought what he had, I was just starting to show symptoms. She told me it was allergies. Not very happy about that.
First off, this is NOT an urgent care center. Chincoteague Island Health Center is a primary care office only and accepts walk ins as their availability allows. That said, I can’t say enough good about the staff here. I was visiting the island when I had a sudden urgent medical issue and walked into the clinic thinking it was an urgent care center. Don't Ever go here, the doctor I had didn't know what my Beta Blocker was!!! And very rude
