HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This was a relaxing, informative tour! Saw many of the famous Chincoteague Wild Ponies! Bald eagles, pelicans, dolphins, and even a pair of Oyster Catchers on the oyster beds! Caption John holds a deep local history of the area, and recounted several stories of his youth! The pontoon was a comfortable, smooth ride!

Our driver Mark did a fantastic job with the tour he knows so much about the horses the area dolphins and all on the tour we even got to see the horses and we even got to see the dolphins

A fantastic experience! The boat was clean and very comfortable. Captain John is highly knowledgeable and knows the best spots for ponies and birds. The best part was when he took out his own camera to snap photos of a bald eagle that our tour was lucky enough to see. It was great to see his enthusiasm for this beautiful area and its wildlife, even after his many decades of experience. It showed this is not just a job for him but truly a passion.

Captain John was an amazing tour guide and host. We experienced wildlife close-up and had a delightful trip. I highly recommend Chincoteague boat tours for an up close view of the islands!

A last minute booking but not disappointed! Really up together boat and a great skipper in John. Really knowledgeable and showed us ponies, an osprey, dolphins, pelicans and a gorgeous sunrise. Well worth getting up early for before the buzz of this area gets going. Thank you for a great trip.
