Headed to Chinched on a lazy Sunday morning with a few friends and honestly could not have picked a better spot. The charcuterie board we shared was absolutely stacked, with house-cured meats that tasted like someone actually put care into every slice. Our server was warm and unhurried, which made the whole brunch feel more like a meal at a friend's place than a restaurant. If you're in St. John's and want something that feels special without being stuffy, this is the move.
Stopped in at Chinched Bistro a couple of weeks ago after a long day of meetings and it was exactly the reset I needed. The charcuterie board was genuinely impressive - house-cured meats with pickled accompaniments that actually had complexity rather than the generic spread you find at most spots. Service was warm without being hovering, which is a balance a lot of places get wrong. If you're passing through St. John's, this one is worth making time for, full stop.
This is now a deli, not a restaurant as advertised on Google. They are located inside a market, and have a food truck in the back in the summer. Very misleading, and quite a drive out of the way for a not restaurant 🧐
