Best Chinese in San Antonio – I was very skeptical because the place seems small and nondescript but I was pleasantly surprised. The food is fabulous, always fresh, no MSG, and very tasty. The prices are extremely reasonable especially for the lunch and dinner combos. Nice place, but the food. – I went there because I work right behind them and saw the great right ups. I am sorry to say, not some of the best food I have ever tasted. Very dissatisfied to say the least. I got the sesame chicken and my wife had the Mongolian beef. Very bland as if the food were from a package. The service was great and the staff was friendly but it didn't make up for the food.

Nice little restaurant – Very cozy environment and friendly service; food is delicious but not oily like many other Chinese restaurants; A great place for a small gathering!!

Great Little Chinese Restaurant – From the outside it doesn't look like much but this is definitely one of my favorites in San Antonio. If you are in the area of West Ave and NW Military give this place a try. They have lunch specials around $5 and early bird dinner specials around $6 (soup, meal, egg roll or rangoon). A nice option they have here is that some of the chicken dishes are prepared with white meat which is a big reason I keep going back. Great Little Buffet – The buffet on Tuesday and Wednesday evening is great. It is very small and they do not set out much at any one time but is really tasty. Ice tea is good and they refill and give plenty of ice. They have tables set up to clos together and is hard to get around. That is the only thing I do not like.

Won't eat anywhere else – I love China Inn. I've tried a few other places in town, and always always come back to China Inn. Nothing can beat their hot and sour soup...it's addictive. Food is fresh, and you can tell it when you taste it.. none of that frozen stuff. Wait staff is courteous, pleasant, quick and professional. Lunch specials run 7 days a week, instead of 5.
