This guy is a quack. He has no bedside manner and doesn’t know how to explain anything he’s doing let alone make you feel comfortable. Environment was not relaxing or soothing at all either, loud and annoying clicking noises going on for the entire 30 minutes… his initial consult costs $30 and is a joke because he legit just writes down what you write down on your intake sheet and talks to you for a few minutes. I cant express my gratitude toward Dr. SHAO enough!! Not only he is a very kind person but also a true professional with over 45 years of experience. I have been suffering from months with sharp pain and numbness to my left arm tk the point when I was crying from the pain. I found his business online and the next day I booked my first appointment with him. The best decision of the year! Right after my second treatment the pain was almost gone! Rude and unprofessional. His demeanor was a shocking turn off. During the appointment he looked disoriented, angry, as if inconvenienced by the presence of patients. He made comments that were completely out of place, full of animosity and disdain. His competence in the field is highly questionable as well. It is as if has forgotten the basics of practicing oriental medicine. No manners, no competence... be safe, stay away. We were disappointed and hurt. He should not be dealing with patients (or people).
Dr. Shao is excellent, within a few treatment he was able to cure my stress and anxiety. I highly recommend his acupuncture treatment and herbal medicine.
