The food is really good. This is my new go-to for Chinese in Riverside.
Today I visited China Gourmet, and it was hands down the best decision I’ve made in all my time living in Rhode Island. Back when I worked as a delivery driver for Uber Eats and DoorDash, this restaurant was always a favorite; people would constantly order from far away—places like Cranston, Pawtucket, and Johnston—just to get food from here. First time here and I loved it everything is delicious!! And super clean!!
The food overall is slightly above average. I know the bridge situation is awful, but I would go to Kings's Garden in Cranston all day before this place. The Egg Rolls are lousy, but I am picky.
We ordered Chinese the other night I had the boneless chicken fingers with a side of gravy fried rice. My husband had beef teriyaki fried rice. I have to say very fast once we place your order and pick up the order was piping hot when we got home and most importantly, it tasted delicious in my opinion China gourmet is the best restaurant in the city of East Providence if not anywhere in the state of Rhode Island
