Great tasting food, big portions, and great service!!!!!!!!! – Pleasant atmosphere, attentive wait staff. Family dinner special for 2 could easily feed 4. Ordered the sweet & sour pork & pepper beef steak. Both dishes had great sauces and big chunky vegtables (uummm). Side dishes included were chicken fried rice & steamed rice. (Big portions) as well as very flavorful hot & sour soup, 2 egg rolls & 4 won tons. Chinese kitchen serves quick and easy Asian dishes at this unassuming restaurant. – In Short China Ginger is a no-frills casual eatery for those who enjoy simple Chinese dishes without the fuss. The menu contains a wide range of entrees, both lunch and dinner sized, which are all low in salt and MSG free. Plates include classic Asian dishes, such as spicy Kung Pao chicken, pork lo mein, succulent beef and broccoli and shrimp with snow peas. There is also a wide range of vegetarian options for non-meat eaters.
High prices for small portions of average food – The food was subpar and overpriced, at about $12 for a meal that's only big enough for 1 person with no leftovers. I have had a lot of Chinese food, both American and authentic, worked at several restaurants, and the food here is really nothing special. The restaurant, however, looks very ritzy and expensive on the inside. Really not worth it.
China Ginger has a 4.1 star rating with 19 reviews.
