RecommendedAwesome food, too bad their last day is Monday. I hate development. Almost 40 years of tradition out the window.
I have been dining at China Gate for approximately 18yrs and it is still hands down my favorite Chinese food restaurant. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food is very delicious. The only down part is going thru the kitchen to get to the restroom.

The BEST!! Best Chinese food around. Have to go to there every time I’m in Ann Arbor.
We went in and the hostess didn't smile, didn't greet us, just told us to find a seat. There was a pile of trash in the corner by the booths and no highchairs. We left right away and the hostess got extremely snippy with us.
Best Chinese food in Michigan. Always great tasting.
