The worst Chinese I've ever had
We’ve been coming to China garden for many years, and it’s generally a very reliable takeaway. The menu choice is extensive, friendly service and delicious food. It’s on the expensive side but is a really good choice for Chinese food in Southampton.
Very disappointing experience I ordered a Chinese takeaway costing around �80 and unfortunately the food was extremely disappointing. There was a hair in the chips, the chips appeared to have been recooked the crispy duck was slimy and undercooked and the rice didn’t taste fresh The only thing we were able to eat was some of the rice, as the children were hungry. Very disappointed with this order. I found a hair in the food, which is completely unacceptable. The duck was also undercooked, and the chips looked and tasted like they had been cooked/reheated several times. I contacted them to ask for a refund because a large part of the meal was not fit to eat. Despite spending �80, I was told I could only receive �30 back, which I find very disappointing given the quality of the food and the issues with the order.
