The website doesn't tell you that the buffet is only from 11:00 to 3:00. Drove all the way there only to see the sign on the windows! That's ok. We located another all can eat and the food was WONDERFUL!
Went in for lunch. Husband had a piece of chicken on the stick and bit into it and it was raw. Told the waiter and he turned around said it’s suppose to be red, it’s red meat chicken. The chicken wasn’t red it was pink.
Went Sunday (Fathers Day) the price for lunch was increased to almost $20. The selection was missing a lot. The desserts were gone with limited gross exceptions.
I have been a New Bern local since birth until recently, and the place i always come back to no matter how long I’m staying is none other than China Garden. This establishment is one of the hidden gems i always recommend to those looking for a cheap meal that will undoubtedly leave you full, and happy.
