The best! This is by far the best chinese food in Dayton and at a great price, too. From $5 on up! My favorites include the barbecued ribs and pineapple (a house specialty), the always excellent egg drop soup and the crab rangoons. You won't find better chinese food packed with great, friendly service within a nice atmosphere. What are you waiting for?

super nice food The far hill china cottage is the largest china cottage, super value lunch is of great taste and only cost about 6-8 bucks. They also have special chinese menu.

The service was fast and reliable. The servers were nice and freindly. The food was fabulous and very tasty. I would recomend to my friends to eat here.
I went here with my wife and kids for our anniversery dinner..I was very dissapointed. The staff was rude and the wait was long, when the tables were not even occupied! The food was overcooked or overfried. Overall, the opportunity was not good at all. The food was tasteless and sparse. I will not be coming again, do not waste your time and money here.
When I think of Chinese food, I always think of The China Cottage.
