China Bistro has been renamed TAZ and is supposed to be Asian Fusion, at double the price and expensive drinks. This has pretty much ruined the fact that we had a reasonable Chinese restaurant along with all the over expensive crappy restaurants that we already have in town.
excellent food! This is one of my favorite places to eat. Try any of these- Orange chicken, spicy honey chicken, and the house special chicken.
Excellent service and great food. The ambiance is nice as well.
Its the bomb, Its good food, Service is always over the top, I luv going there to enjoy a good nice relaxing dinner. There rice soup is yum yum. I luv ordering there lemon chicken with a warm plate of vegi fried rice. Geez.. I got hungry Im about to walk down the hill and order me sum good food. Chomp!
If you grow up in and around L.A. like me, well, you get used to a lot of different cuisine with old world flair due to the immigrants that create work for themselves doing something they know - Food!...and you also get better at criticizing un-authentic, greasy or flavorless food...Such is the case with most Chinese restaurants.But there is an occasional exception - like China Bistro #1 in Laguna Beach.Two dishes - 3-Flavor Shrimp and Kung Pao Chicken.
