Had our dryer vent and wood stove chimney cleaned. The chimney cleaning was especially impressive. Tarps everywhere to capture soot. If soot hit a tarp, they vacuumed it to keep from stepping in it and tracking it around. Would not put their feet on our area rugs, even with booties. The crew were friendly, personable. Cleaned up fastidiously, wiping the occasional soot smudge with damp cloths. The crew chief, George, explained everything and took the time to answer my frequent questions. I absolutely love my gas fireplace, but also everyone was so kind and helpful in deciding on the best fit for my home and educating me on my fireplace. I highly recommend them!
Devon did an excellent job - he was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He was able to diagnose and repair the issue, clean the stove, reassemble, and discuss with us/answer our questions all within ONE HOUR. He immediately noticed the issues that another company overlooked, and also gave us other suggestions to improve safety (ex, removing vegetation from near outside vent). I wanted to thank everyone at Chimney Sweeps of Sherwood Forest for their wonderful services. We had a new woodstove insert installed about a year ago and the experience could not have been any better, from the initial inspection of the chimney to the final install everyone involved was pleasant, professional and very helpful.
