Service: lining replacement (old terra cotta flue was cracked and deteriorating) The Chimney Scientists crew was excellent, from scheduling through service, solid communication throughout. The cost is on the higher side, but the service and warranty justify it. I had a few minor issues after initial liner replacement, but they came back out and handled them quickly and completely. Great communication and workmanship. Thank you to the whole team, and to Francisco and Ronaldo specifically!
The Chimney scientist got me out of a sticky spot for sure. I had a crumbling chimney (that I was yet unaware of) at my property that likely caused my aging boiler to fail. In the middle of one of the coldest January we’ve had in a decade. I was in a pickle. I had the boiler replaced and found out that it wasn’t able to vent because of the crumbling chimney. Service man came did the inspection. We paid the fee which will be credited after signing the contract Dave never sent the contract. After calling the home office 3x never heard from them again very disappointed. Just gave away 160.00 for nothing
