I hate to give a bad review because the service and communication was great. I was having a leak coming from my chimney, which cause a piece of my boiler to rust/break. I requested a free estimate and they quoted me nearly $10k to reline, cap and seal my old chimney. Floored, I got two more quotes and both techs said I actually have a B-vent and they could replace the parts ranging from $2.5-4k. I reached out to the Chimney Scientists in the summer of 2023 to assess a fireplace that was separating from a wall. The employee on the phone said that her team could handle it and would identify issues and fix actions through an inspection. Joe came out promptly and professionally and inspected the fireplace. I had a cleaning/inspection done by CS several years ago, and they were incredibly professional and thorough. We needed some repairs done more recently for a leak, and went with some other companies who offered lower pricing. However, those companies did subpar work and the leak only worsened. We ended up calling CS back and are glad to be working with them again.
