Called to make an appointment to have my gas fireplace inspected and was told that they only work on fireplaces that they install. To their credit, they did answer the phone.
Chimney Doctors (Waukesha) came out and inspected my chimney for $189, found missing mortar joints, and suggested that we have those repaired along with installing chimney caps. I was told we would be able to apply the $189 to any repair work. I asked for an estimate and was told it would be sent out the next day. I didn't receive it so I called back 2 weeks later and was told that it would be sent out by email the following week. That was one week ago and I still haven't received an estimate.
