Dr Ohaegbulam is attentive, thorough and caring. I have had successful cervical fusion 17 years ago with Dr O and now back for his expertise with my lumbar spine. I trust him and respect his knowledge and expertise. Over the past 17 years I have referred many people to him!
I saw Dr. O for a back/legs problem 15 years after he did surgery on my neck and gave me my life back. He was very thorough and explained everything in detail so I understand what steps we are taking and why we are taking them. He is not a "surgery first" doctor even though he is a surgeon. I have complete trust in his evaluation and abilities.
Dr. O gave me my life back. After over a year of debilitating pain from disc issues he did my micro-discectomy yesterday and I woke up a new person, pain free. I felt very confident, and comfortable during the whole process due to Dr.O’s calming presence and his display of knowledge and confidence in his skills. I was recommended to him by a friend who had a much more complicated surgery than I and she had nothing but amazing things to say about him as well. I would recommend him in a heartbeat and will forever be grateful!
he is not well reputed for nothing. he is knowledgeable, with outstanding bedside manners, explains and listens carefully to your questions before answering...I am lucky to have him as my surgeon.
Dr. Ohaegbulam is the first surgeon to actually listen to what areas hurt, regardless of the xrays and MRI. By doing so, he was able to determine that I probably had multiple root causes of my pain. We will explore options that do not require surgery first to see if we can knock out some sources. Then use surgery if still required. Several other surgeons I spoke to went straight to surgery and one mostly likely that would not impact my biggest pain point.
