We went in December 2025, and it was an incredible experience. All the staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. It was also great to see how well they care for their dogs. If you have the opportunity, go take a sled dog ride, it will be one of the most unique and fun things you will get to experience.
It was a terrific experience! It's a family run business so their reputation is on the line every time, and they do a great job of keeping things to the highest standard.
Once in a lifetime experience! This was such a fun experience. My son hasn’t stopped talking about it. From how sweet the dogs were, to how educational the guides were and the fun we had on the 8 mile run it’s definitely number one experience in our book
I have come back year after year, bringing someone new each time so they can experience the magic that keeps pulling me back. Spending a day in the wild with Chilly Dogs is truly unforgettable. The passion Jake, Jess, their kids and the entire staff have for what they do is inspiring! It makes you want to return to your own life and seek that same sense of purpose. Exceeded all expectations. We had the best time and learned so much. At the start of the trip they helped make sure we were fully equipped for the 8 degree F morning, which was great since I had forgotten my coat We then met the dogs and gave them love while the guides introduced us to each of them by name. After this we were given a rundown of how-to dogsled safely, while Jake (the owner’s) youngest daughter provided comedic support. Finally we were off on the ride of a lifetime through the woods.
