I don't understand the point of having a so-called Urgent and Primary Care Center if there are no doctors working. They offered a nurse but when I asked if it would be nurse practitioner (able to prescribe medication) I was told they only had an Rn and that they actually woudn't have a DR scheduled until Monday/Tuesday. It was Friday. My issue was physical pain in my knee that had gotten much worse and I assumed that would need in person assessment but made a virtual appointment because the receptionist here told me too. Regret wasting my time waiting for my husband to be seen by a nurse who can only give advises. I understand triage and have patiently waited for hours and there are no other people in the waiting area but us yet we are still left waiting for my husband to be called and let in. We should have gone to the hospital and waited there instead.
Walked in and no doctor available, however got in right away with the nurses and they gave me all the advise needed. Friendly greeting in the front, nurses professional and caring. Entire visit took 15 minutes.
Heads up everyone this place starts checking people in at 315pm not 430 when it says they open. Went at 415 and was turned away, told they were already at capacity for the night. 0 stars.
