Daina is THE GIRL!! Our story didn’t go as planned unfortunately but Daina was with us through it all and couldn’t have been a more perfect, gentle, compassionate person to experience this loss with. She didn’t treat us like any other loss, she treated us like we were her #1 priority and nothing else mattered more than being there for us. We are so grateful for Daina, Hayley, and the rest of the team we didn’t get much of a chance to meet.
I've had two births under the care of The Midwives. I have felt well cared and supported both times. Kristi was at my first birth and with her knowledge and expertise, I did not need any interventions. Atasha was at my second birth and it was such a smooth birth. I had such a positive experience. Thanks to each one of the midwives! They all give excellent care!
I had the amazing pleasure of being cared for during my pregnancy by the midwives team. I felt supported throughout the entire pregnancy and was always provided evidenced based care. During labour, complications arose and I felt highly advocated for by Kiley. She put the safety of myself and baby first, while recognizing the emotional impact of it. It really pains me to leave a negative Google review but I do need to speak up and say something for other women to be aware. This practice is giving false impressions of providing homebirths and if you have your heart set on that ensure this provider meets it. They dropped me from care at 36 weeks pregnant which completely stunned my family doctor because they said they think I would fail to appear to hospital but the reality is this: I got questioned a lot and tactics were used to suggest I was high risk due to a long labo... read more
I had them with my first baby - I for some reason got stuck with Christy for the majority of my appointments, she was rude always answered my questions with “you are pregnant what do you expect” and was overall a horrible provider in such a vulnerable time. During my stay in the hospital I had no midwife check in on me and they forgot to test me for the bacteria that you can get during pregnancy that needs antibiotics.
