I had a tour on Thursday 4/17/25 at 9:30am. I ended up liking the center and let them know I was interested and deposit ready! They confirmed there was an opening and I was told that I would be sent an application, and once my deposit was paid the spot for my daughter would be held. I waited but was never sent anything, when I tried to call back no one would answer, the next day also no answer, I had to call for 3 days and when someone finally answered I was told AGAIN the email would be sent and still didn’t get anything. I am the father of the infant who was force-fed at ChildTime of Columbia last year. Since that incident, I've reflected deeply on our experience at this daycare—the very first we trusted with our son. After speaking with former employees, I discovered the core issue plaguing ChildTime: consistently poor management, resulting in chronic staffing shortages and high turnover. As a prospective parent, I am unimpressed by the communication skills of the staff at this location. I showed up for my virtual tour on time but was never let into the call. After thirty minutes of waiting, I left. Never received any communication about it other than an email saying I had missed my tour. Oddly enough, a similar situation happened with Childtime of Hanover as well. I don’t wish to have my child cared for by a place lacking in communication ability.

Everything was ok until Ashley got his teacher to start opening up his cup and putting their nose in it to smell what we were giving him, not only that they let him go without eating lunch. When we tried to talk to Ashley about what was going on she lied to us about everything. And those cameras don’t cover ... read more
I am writing to express my disappointment with Child Time Columbia and to officially withdraw my interest in enrolling my 2-year-old daughter. My decision comes after experiencing several concerning factors during my visit and reviewing alarming feedback online. I had an appointment scheduled with Director Ashley Harris for a tour, but unfortunately, she was unable to attend due to being short-staffed and had to take the children on a field trip. While I did meet with the Assistant Director, who was helpful, the overall situ... read more
