Wish I had gone here sooner! Wasted a lot of time dealing with Lowe's and their awful customer service trying to get an Ego mower. On the other hand, Child's building supply exceeded all my expectations and even made delivery earlier than promised. All the staff were super friendly and it really makes a difference when you can walk in and talk to the owner in person. Can't recommend this place enough.

Small store but has everything that I need when I go there
Let me start out by saying I had usually had good luck with this store. I bought a nice Stihl chainsaw from them. It came with a 1 year warranty and if you bought the Stihl oil, it doubled the warranty to 2 years, which I did. After a couple of months I finally had a need to use it. It would not start. Just went into Child's Ace hardware store here in Orange Texas and I was just appalled at the service I didn't get. I walked in and saw four different employees. The young lady at the register was busy helping someone else and really didn't acknowledge that I walked in the store. I walked to the back thinking I could get assistance.
