Our new front porch is amazing! It is sturdy, stylish, low maintenance, and will last us a very long time. Childress did a fantastic job! He was great on communication and worked really hard to create us a beautiful porch. I definitely recommend Childress and his team. I will be using them again when the time comes to redo the back porch.
We used Childress to install some deck stairs at home. The steps ended up at the wrong grade, which was clarified before the job began. This caused us to spend extra money to correct it. They also left the job unfinished after being paid and saying they'd return. They never did. I emailed them, then called them twice. Spoke with them and was told twice they'd be out. They never showed. A third phone call was greeted with they don't remember the job.
We love our new deck! Our old deck was in dire need of replacement. Steven and his crew did an excellent job of removing the old decking and putting new decking and railing in place as well as a rainescape system underneath. The crew was meticulous throughout the project, with exacting measurements and clean up.Both Steven and Nicolette are very personable and easy to work with. We highly recommend Childress Construction and are happy we supported local small business!

Childress crew is pleasant to talk with, sensitive to your needs (I work from home so needed some quiet time). They removed the old railings and cleaned up, and even took the materials where I had replaced deck boards. The Childress crew kept us updated the entire way an... read more
