We highly recommend Childress Construction. They completed the replacement of our old deck with an approx. 19'x28' new build. The deck is of treated wood. The design is a picture frame border and flooring of equals lengths which avoids random fastener patterns. They also are toenailed to avoid damage from repeated rains and weather, and are knot free. Childress construction did a fantastic job with our porch and patio. They wrapped the columns and replaced the railing on our front porch which now looks so much better than before and they redid our back porch and patio which came out great! We loved how they worked on both the porch and the patio together and were effective in communicating along the way, so that everything went smoothly. Steve and crew are extremely skilled. Their attention to detail turned our deck replaced into a work of art. Our new deck is far superior to the original. It is at least twice as sturdy and ten times more attractive. The crew was very polite and displayed good manners at all times. Working with Childress Construction was a great experience.

We had a few contractors provide bids to replace our back deck. We felt the most comfortable with Steve based on the options he presented. Even though we had to wait, it was well worth it. Their crew were at the house when they said they would be there, were respectful of our property and did top notch work. We recommended them to our next door neighbor and dog sitter. Thanks Steve and Nicolette for exceeding our expectations.
