For the most part my experience here has been okay. I have had very bad experiences with both Cheryl L Lustig, APNP and Alison Fritschler, APNP. Both of the nurse partitioners were rude and did not seem to care at all. They make you feel and talk to you like you are stupid. They are not good with children and should not work at a hospital that is for children. They don’t seem happy at their jobs and it really shows with how they act with patients. Great experience here with urgent care. Was promptly seen. Everyone was very friendly. Nurse practitioner was professional, efficient, and I would drive down here again in a heartbeat for urgent care.
We had a wonderful experience at Children’s Hospital Wisconsin Urgent Care in Kenosha. We were seen by Teresa Cafaro, and she was absolutely amazing. My daughter has been experiencing joint swelling, and Teresa took our concerns seriously, was incredibly professional, and showed genuine care for her well-being. She helped us take the next step by getting a referral to a pediatric rheumatologist for what may be JIA, which brought us such peace of mind. Brought my son in because he had a sore throat and was lethargic. The doctor gave a quick strep test. The strep test was negative and gave him Allergy medicine. His symptoms did not improve and we returned to another doctor that did the culture strep and Mono test. Both came back positive. They use this facility to get patients in and out fast rather than looking at what is really wrong with the child.
