This place is a joke! As a former nyc doe special education teacher, this place is a disgrace to the area. Families are not put first, the insurance money is. Angela will sweet talk you and make you believe that your child will get everything they need and then always be understaffed, changing your child’s routine by switching therapists often, not addressing your concerns, not discussing your child’s plan and goals/updating them, staff is ride, and whenever you advocate for your child there’s always a lousy excuses. Monroe County Pennsylvania won the jackpot when CUBS opened its doors. I am happy to go to CUBS every day, and I leave CUBS happy every day. I have worked in this profession for 25 years. Dishonest, untrustworthy, and unprofessional. While the program initially sounds promising, it did not meet the needs of my child. Angela, the director, presents herself well and is very persuasive during the intake process, making many assurances about how the program can support your child. Many promises that were made verbally or in writing, were not made. Staff assignments were arbitrary, with little consideration for whether the therapist was a good fit for my child’s needs.
