My husband went in because he fell unconscious. He was classified as HIGH FALL RISK...the nurse wheeled him out when he was discharged and left him standing alone while I went to get the car. Maybe an improvement would be being RESPONSIBLE AND CARING.

Worst hospital in the county! People including myself been sitting in the waiting room for over 5 hours!!!! Been did blood work over 4 hours ago & still no one has came back to say anything!! They have no beds available but over 10 people have walked out from being discharged!
RecommendedIt’s hit or miss. My mom has been in and out of the ER area 3 times in the last month. Sometimes I’m impressed, sometimes angry and sometimes so sad that they treat patients like they do. It’s starts with security at check in , 2 of the officers need to be fired or totally retrained. They had no clue what was going on. Then the nursing staff is hit or miss - some nurses are excellent and some should not be working with live people- and need to be fired. RecommendedNever have I felt good entering into a hospital until two weeks ago with my friend who had an emergency. Halifax Health doctors & staff were all very attentive, informative & friendly.... from the ER to the 7th floor nursing station. Even housekeeping! He & I both felt his three day stay was, actually, pleasant. Surprised me!

RecommendedCouldn’t have been in a better place when I had my heart attack. Awesome staff and facility. The nurses and lab technicians treated me like family at the big hospital ❤️
July 5 this “medical facility” discharged my mother who went to the er with chest pain shortness of breath and altered mental status change. She was diagnosed with a UTI. JULY 7 we called 911 because mother COULD NOT BREATH she was sent to Advent Health and is COVID positive in critical care TODAY JULY 13 at 213am My sister has the same symptoms only she has sharp lung pain, shallow reparations and fast breathing SHE IS IN TRIAGE OVER 2 HOURS!!!! Sadly as I’ve been in both hospitals in a 3 week period both have been very disappointing in managing my medical needs, I filled over 9 complaints about the nursing staff at the main hospital not checking my blood sugar giving my meds on time even fell bed sheets not changed for a week list goes on .
