Staff turnover is a HUGE issue here. My child was constantly coming home asking where their teachers went, and honestly, I had the same question. In the last month alone, we have seen about 8 teachers leave. My child who already struggles with being away from their parents, constantly having to adjust to a new teacher is extremely difficult. Unfortunately, our experience with this daycare has raised several serious concerns. The high staff turnover has made it difficult for children to have the consistency and stability they need. In one year, we went through 12 teachers. This past week on of my children's classrooms lost all teachers assigned to the room. Frequent changes in teachers and caregivers can be particularly challenging for young children who benefit from predictable routines and familiar adults. We absolutely LOVE this location of Childrens lighthouse!!! The environment is bright and cheerful, but what really makes the difference is the way the staff shows up for every child. What impresses me most is how personally they treat each kid. It doesn’t feel like a one-size-fits-all place. We have had the absolute best experience with this daycare. My son started here at just 4 months old, and he has truly thrived ever since. The love, care, and attention the teachers show the children is so evident every single day.
