Lots of good books My wife is die hard children book freak and this place satisfies her book needs. It is a nice local shop that makes you feel right at home and it has a great selection. If they don't have it in stock they are willing to do what it takes to make sure they can get it for you. The customer service was excellence. A great gem on 9th and 9th PROS: selection CONS:

Cute children's clothes What a cute little boutique! I decided to stop in just to see what they had. There is a "little of everything" in this shop. I mainly looked through the children's section. There were some really cute clothes for kids! The prices were a little high, but the items seemed like one of a kinds. I also loved looking at the jewelry section. Many beautiful pieces that had the vintage look. I'll be back!

Don't buy anything there and expect to see a refund of any kind should you need to return it. I don't live in the area and bought a sweater. I needed to return it, which I did on my way back to the airport. I was offered a refund. They didn't even refund the tax I paid. I explained I didn't live in the area and wouldn't be able to use my store credit. This made no difference to them. Their customer service is horrible. The Children's Hour has the best selection of books, clothing, and jewelry in SLC! The staff is wonderful and extremely knowledgeable about books and gift ideas, too!

I have been shopping at Children's Hour for several years. I love this store. The merchandise is special - very unique! The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. I especially like it when the owner is there as she goes out of her way to help me find the the type of item I am wanting that day.
I love coming to this store. The staff are wonderful and no they give you the time and advice you need to make the right decision. I always bring out of town visitors here. It's one of Salt Lake's treasures.
