My daughter got bit by a dog and needed 3 stitches on her eyebrow. We waited for more than 4 hours to be seen. That wasn't the problem though. Upon arrival, the triage nurse was very nice and clearly knows how to work with small children. They put a numbing cream on her cut and bandage. The problem was that no one told us the cream only last a couple hours and no one called us to administer more cream after it wore off. I came in at 8:27pm and didn’t get to triage until 10:30pm because I ask how long is the wait. Turns out the nurse never pick up my sign in sheet. If I didn’t ask I probably waited the whole night. Please do better.
Former patient here! I had to switch hospitals, bc all most of the service that I was utilizing whenever I needed it was moving to the Minneapolis campus, and that was WAYYY far away from where I was living. I’m totally gonna volunteer here in a year! I think they took good care of me when I was here. I was sort of a celebrity in the Child Life Zone when they did those shows.
