Very disappointing on going experience. He did not seem prepared or willing to appropriately manage complex cases. It often felt like he wanted recognition when things were going well but became absent or disengaged when complications arose. Family concerns were repeatedly dismissed, and decisions appeared to be made without genuinely listening to or considering input from those closest to the patient. This man is an amazing doctor! He helped my 3 yr old son when he had a double hernia underneath his rib cage. It looked like he only had one but during surgery he discovered that it was a double. Charles loves to point out his scars but they hardly show because his doctor did such an amazing job 💜💜💜
Our son has had life threatening medical issues his entire life we came close to losing him several times and I know that if Dr Abdessalam had not come into our lives our son would not be here today and would not have the quality of life that he has. Every Dr should strive to be like Dr Abdessalam!!!
In 2014, my son was 2 and he had to have major surgery. As a single mom, I was given choices, non, I knew nothing about, regarding this surgery. Dr. Abdessalam and God helped guide me, in making the right decisions about my son' s surgery. I still get emotional thinking about this time in my life. We were truly blessed with the best surgeon.
