Worst place ever for kids Dr Brianna Statz was so rude about my son getting his cast wet and she was so rough and rushing threw changing it not giving a care in the world that it was hurting my son who mind you had surgery two weeks ago. She was very unprofessional unfortunately

I came in with my cousin and her son and daughter around 10:15 pm because her son fell and cut his forehead open. We were out of state and here for a funeral so it was quite stressful. Found parking quickly, the nurse that checked us in was friendly and empathetic, the one that took us in to get him bandaged and some numbing cream was also super sweet and helpful. I brought my 8 month old son here in the middle of the night when his croup seemed to be getting worse and was causing some stridor in his breathing that made me very anxious. The clinical staff were kind, patient and quick to evaluate my son and provide treatment. The other employees I interacted with like the staff members at the entry/exit were very nice too which helped calm my nerves.

My daughter saw Dr. Christopher Spahr at Children's of Wisconsin emergency department (He also happens to be their Chief Quality Officer). He dismissed her pain, wrote in her chart that there "may be a behavioral component" to her pain, and refused to order an ultrasound when I (her mother) requested one. He said that he investigated and ruled out all possibilities he could and gave her a GI referral (GI appointments were unavailable for two months). Just to let you know if you have state insurance, you will be seen last… And Have a longer waiting. Now I see why some wait 4 hrs and some get accepted right away … “we go off of symptoms mam” said the nurse.. well my baby of 13 mons had a fever of 103 and congested with mucus and could hardly breathe with wheezing… While there was teenagers with their parents getting seen right away!
