If I could give 0 stars, I would. We will never return. The nurse and doctor offered to provide us with an estimate for our daughters procedure to determine if we wanted to move forward. The procedure was not 100% necessary as we could just begin to treat her without the conformation through the procedure. They proceeded to provide us with a $0 estimate (full insurance coverage). Medical staff at this facility was the worst so far. Their level of indifference is incredible. The first doctor and his nurse didn’t really listen to our concerns and then blamed us for not giving them the details that I provided several times on multiple occasions. I was blamed for not seeing through the recommendations that have proven to be damaging to my child. The doctor on call the other day said “if YOU are uncomfortable, you should go to the ER”. The appointment line person has been rude each time I’ve called and wholly unconcerned with helping us. We’ve had trouble getting the referral to them and finally had our doctor print and fax it directly. The response this time was that it could take 7 days for them to get it via fax (even though endocrinology got it immediately this time and has been very nice and helpful even before then) and to basically stop calling despite it being weeks since we got the initial referral with no recourse. “We will automatically call you... read more
Updating this rating. After being in tears due to being treated horribly, I managed to call back and spoke with the first caring person so far. She actually listened to what I was saying and heard my concerns and answered ALL my questions with respect and care. My daughter has an appointment and a plan of care and I was given the information instead of being hung up on.
