I do not recommend this RTC at all. By far the worst. I was in ymp which was coordinated by Debra Hunter there was multiple times we had infestations with bugs in our house at 185. Multiple times with not much to eat. Their staffing is disorganized not to mention that they are also very disrespectful. One stall Melissa actually was buying cigarettes off another resident which was known and no disciplinary action was taken. Also she was talking about residents, staff to other residents. My cousin is here and they won’t let her have contact with her family. She is in a bad place mentally and needs to be in touch with her family that still talks to her.
I just left yesterday and it's sad to say goodbye, but I hope to come to visit someday.

I was bounced around from home to home before I came here. I lived in the Overlook housing site. The very first house parents were Scott and Anne. My fondest memories are the best Halloween parties!! I remember the summer program. With different activities and the contest at the end of the summer where we made projects and the staff choose winners. This place is terrible for kids it's not fun here
As a past resident from 1982-1987 and having the chance to go back and visit the summer of 2017 after 30 yrs. I was glad to see the growth and changes done to the home for the kids. It has grown so much in the last 30 yrs. Thank you Jay McGuinnis, Judy Harfford and other staff from the 80's for giving me a better life as a child to become a great father to my Daughter.
