Dr. Samples was great, very personable, knowledgeable and caring. His staff on the other hand is not only rude and uncaring but incompetent. We asked for a copy of our baby's chart, December 2011 because we were going west to care for my childless aunt and my 90-year old grandmother. My dad is in an Alzheimer's home. Two months later, they processed our request, the copies were so faded the text is not readable. Less than two weeks after the chart arrived we were back in Virginia. Dr. Samples and Dr. Gehrz are excellent. They are attentive to the children and very caring and easy to get along with. The nurses on the other hand are rude and don't have good bedside manner at all. They are not patient with the children and are pushy to get done with what they are doing.... Dr. Gehrz and Samples need to hire an entirely different staff. They would keep more patients that way.
