My son has been working with Miss Emily for several months now and we have hit so many milestones since then. He can tie his shoes, swing on a swing, and ride a bike with no training wheels! She also taught him that his body moves a little different and that’s okay. He loves his sessions and I have seen a boost in his self esteem as well.
RecommendedMy four year old has been seeing Sam and her team at Children at Play for about three months. Sam is the best of the best when it comes to working with kids and helping them become the best they can be. She's very caring while at the same time knowledgeable and friendly. Not only that but Sam's got the patience of a saint. If you need occupational therapy in the Annapolis area then this is the girl you need to see.
Sam is an amazing OT. She has helped our daughter build up her core and strength that she never had before. The environment is also quiet and perfect for our daughter. I would strongly recommend her to anyone!
Miss Sam has been working with my son since he was 3 yrs old (he has autism and is now 7) and he has grown by leaps and bounds both from a sensory perspective and in terms of gross and fine motor strength. The social groups available through children at play have been wonderful for him in terms of turn taking, friendships, sensory play, and just plain fun. I cannot recommend Miss Sam enough!
