I saw Dr. Childers for my childhood PTSD, and it’s been the most helpful thing for me to date. He coached me through eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) a few years ago, and since then, my life has flourished in every aspect. Dr. Childers saved my life, no doubt about it.
Dr. Childers treated my son by referral of my son's GP. We had high expectations and liked his personality the first five sessions but all is NOT what you see. We experienced very unprofessional behavior towards my son. If you're looking for an organized office and prefer communication this ISN'T the place for you. He's a one man show. While I appreciate that ambition, maintaining patient files, answering and returning calls, scheduling appointments and handling billing is more than a ONE man show. Dr. Childers is incredibly professional, competent and compassionate. He has been a great help for several of my clients. I highly recommend him for psychological testing and/or counseling. He is also very accessible.
