Our past two experiences over the last three months at this emergency department have been incredible. The staff were lovely, attentive, and highly proactive. Back in 2025, we had some very negative, even discriminatory experiences here, but something has definitely changed for the better. We are so grateful to see the hospital upgrading its staff etiquette and quality of care, and we truly hope this positive direction continues.

I pray for your family if they ever have to go here. Everything is put in the “to hard basket”. Communication is non existent, referral forms are years out of date. Terrible excuse for a hospital.

Absolutely hopeless. Came in for a rabies shot (asian dog bite). I called at 12 midday and explained I’m working, I can’t wait long. The nurse said come up at 1:30 and we’ll get you straight in. Sat here until 2:35 and left.

I attended the emergency department on Thursday 13/07/23 for dizziness as we are touring in our caravan and no local doctor’s would see me, I tried 8 doctors in total at Bargara and Childers, when we arrived at the hospital I was seen straight away while my wife filled out the paperwork by a lovely nurse call Anna who made me fell at ease then I saw at doctor name Mark, both of these people are a true credit to their professions and I was diagnosed with Vertigo. The whole visit took only 1 hour.
