Childers Hospital : Emergency Department

I attended the emergency department on Thursday 13/07/23 for dizziness as we are touring in our caravan and no local doctor’s would see me, I tried 8 doctors in total at Bargara and Childers, when we arrived at the hospital I was seen straight away while my wife filled out the paperwork by a lovely nurse call Anna who made me fell at ease then I saw at doctor name Mark, both of these people are a true credit to their professions and I was diagnosed with Vertigo. The whole visit took only 1 hour.

Very rude receptionist I went to the wrong area where I had to wait because I didn’t get proper directions so I went back inside with my boyfriend who just got there to let her know I’m here but went to the wrong spot and found the correct one now after asking for help and she snapped at me telling me to go back and wait in a very rude tone she had orange hair and glasses I decided to edit this, I have been here for over an hour and no one has come seen me yet but served some other lady who just got here and the reception la... read more

DO NOT LET YOUR LOVED ONES GO TO THIS HOSPITAL!!!! There are no Doctors at this hospital. My loved one has MAGGOTS festering in his wound. This facility is a danger to humanity. My loved one rejected taking a tablet and the locum Dr ruled NIL BY MOUTH for 2 days. No food. No water. My loved one is now in a coma and they have expedited his death.
